John Husky vs Neil Pera

Boxing Daily Report from the Nkoloma Promotions promoted show at Auckland Crosby, Auckland,  taking place on 26/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the New Zealand-Auckland Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Prime, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Husky (8 - 7) who hails from Auckland, New Zealand and Neil Pera(10 - 4 - 2) from Auckland, New Zealand.  Husky weighed in at 121 pounds and 15 ounces, while Pera weighed in at 121 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louis Paipa, and the three ringside judges are Billy Nesmith, Henry Ngahoro and Robert Haturini.  

Round 1: 

Husky sidesteps to the right of his opponent and finds the target with a jab.
