Boxing Daily Report from the AI Nigeria-Kano State promoted show at Kano Ogunro, Kano,  taking place on 26/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Nigeria-Kano State Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Aftab Akhter (10(2) - 4) who hails from Kano, Nigeria and Azubuike Tor(9 - 0) from Kano, Nigeria.  Both Akhter and Tor weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gbolahan Adenaike, and the three ringside judges are Gbolahan Adenaike, Jay-Jay Ukaegbu and Efe Adadevoh.
