Jordan Calley vs Michael Dovey

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at TooOldToParty Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 28/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Jordan Caveman Calley (1 - 0) who hails from Melbourne, Australia and Michael Dovey(0 - 2) from Perth, Australia.  Both Calley and Dovey weighed in at 200 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Christou, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Hinshaw, Bruce Munhall and Andy Wright.

Dovey is on target with a right hook to Calley's ribs.

Calley tries to step out of his opponents range and drives a solid jab into his opponents face.

Dovey closes the distance.  Calley pivots from in front of his opponent and is on target with a right hook to Dovey's ribcage.  
Calley steps away from his opponent.  Calley sidesteps to the right of his opponent and hits home with an overhand left.  
Calley connects with a cross.  
Dovey steps inside.  Calley lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Calley snaps his opponents head back with a stiff jab.  
Dovey is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Dovey sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Calley drives a left uppercut into Dovey's body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dovey dabs at his face checking for damage.  
At the end of Round 3, lets listen in on the corners...Dovey's trainer is telling his fighter he must go to war on his opponent!  Dovey's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Calley drives a left hook into Dovey's liver.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Dovey dabs at his face checking for damage.
