Meril Kugel vs Roger Krone

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Germany-Berlin promoted show at Berlin Stucky, Berlin,  taking place on 28/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Germany-Berlin Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SPORT1, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Meril Kugel (8 - 9(1) - 3 - 1(NC)) who hails from Berlin, Germany and Roger Krone(9 - 6 - 4) from Berlin, Germany.  Both Kugel and Krone weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Theobold Helling, and the three ringside judges are Lothar Jex, Maynard Gelsinger and Volker Gegenheimer.

Krone tries to step out of his opponents range and throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Krone feints a left, and then lands with a stiff jab.  Krone goes for the bodyshot, but lands south of the border!  The ref stops the action and gives Kugel time to recover.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Kugel's trainer is advising how he could be more accurate.  Kugel's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.  Krone's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Krone's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
