Santiago Cruz vs Rogelio Masikip

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Philippines-NCR promoted show at Dario Gaffud Gym, Manila,  taking place on 28/09/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Santiago Cruz (3 - 9 - 2) who hails from Caloocan, Philippines and Rogelio Masikip(5 - 12 - 3) from Caloocan, Philippines.  Cruz weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces, while Masikip weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oleos Villano, and the three ringside judges are Ben Mangkay, Gervasio Bague and Mark Pasamba.
