Juan Tolentino vs Franco Poma

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at UT Arlington College Park Center, Arlington,  taking place on 01/11/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fox Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Tolentino (9(4) - 4 - 1) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Franco Poma(5 - 1 - 3) from Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Both Tolentino and Poma weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Amon East, and the three ringside judges are Robert Corfield, Andy Saenz and Paul Speed.  

Round 1: 

Tolentino steps inside and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Poma attempts to land a jab, but Tolentino slips the shot and counters with a cross.
