Nicandro Chaparro vs Jose Montiel

Boxing Daily Report from the Boakye Promotions promoted show at Lisandro Savala Gym, Alcala de Henares,  taking place on 30/09/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Spain-Comunidad de Madrid Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Nicandro Chaparro (9 - 4 - 3) who hails from Madrid, Spain and Jose Montiel(11 - 5 - 1) from Madrid, Spain.  Chaparro weighed in at 147 pounds, while Montiel weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Rodrigo Maio, and the three ringside judges are Dario Mosca, Cortez Augusto and Vegas Hidalgo.
