Hisao Goto vs Isamu Sumida

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Kurume City Plaza Grand Hall, Kurume,  taking place on 19/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Fukuoka Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hisao Goto (12 - 2 - 1) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Isamu Sumida(12 - 1) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Both Goto and Sumida weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Baba, and the three ringside judges are Ryuu Komatsu, Kazuki Shimoda and Akira Nishimura.  

Round 1: 

Sumida is on target with a jab.  
Sumida walks Goto down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Sumida connects with a right hook.
