Dong-jun Koh vs Hisao Matsuno

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Ichiro Tao Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 01/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dong-jun Koh (7 - 0) who hails from Changwon, South Korea and Hisao Matsuno(5 - 6 - 2) from Kyoto, Japan.  Koh weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Matsuno weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Mori, and the three ringside judges are Takeshi Shimizu, Kenji Fujimoto and Kazuhiko Ozawa.  

Round 1: 

Koh walks Matsuno down, trapping him in a corner.  Koh attempts to land a right uppercut, but Matsuno blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents body.
