Boxing Daily Report from the JSW promoted show at Geelong Arena, Geelong,  taking place on 14/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Amon Blain (6 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and John Laird(9 - 5 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Blain weighed in at 154 pounds, while Laird weighed in at 153 pounds and 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Mark Stein, and the three ringside judges are Paul Lawrie, Gareth Dovey and Abdul Sabir.
