Richard Nzedinga vs Okapi Ametepey

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Ssenjovu Gym, Durban,  taking place on 04/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the South Africa Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Richard Nzedinga (7 - 6(2) - 1) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Okapi Ametepey(11 - 1) from Cape Town, South Africa.  Nzedinga weighed in at 135 pounds, while Ametepey weighed in at 134 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Louis Muamba, and the three ringside judges are Sam Van Onselen, Thamsanqa Mbeki and Ollie Rensburg.  

Round 1: 

Nzedinga advances into close range.  Ametepey sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.
