Justin Hulme vs Afram Mbinji

Boxing Daily Report from the TooOldToParty promoted show at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/11/2024:

Clearly TooOldToParty have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Justin Honey Badger Hulme (7 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and Afram Mbinji(2 - 1 - 3) from Lusaka, Zambia.  Both Hulme and Mbinji weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Johnny Elias, and the three ringside judges are Alastair MacIntyre, Michael Pac and Abdul Sabir.  

Round 1: 

Hulme gets on the inside.  Mbinji throws a right hook, but Hulme ties up his opponent.  Hulme tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Mbinji's kidney. Hulme leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Hulme's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Hulme advances into close range and is on target with a left hook to his opponents body.  
Hulme gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  Hulme holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Hulme pushes his forearm into Mbinji's face.  The ref breaks Hulme's hold and signals for the fight to continue.
