Jonathan Gaddis vs David Jones

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 07/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Gaddis (12(7) - 0) who hails from Waterbury, USA and David Jones(16 - 2 - 1) from Chicago, USA.  Both Gaddis and Jones weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Daniel Leask, and the three ringside judges are Nico Rossettini, Cole Milroy and Gareth Frost.  

Round 1: 

Gaddis lands with a sharp jab.

Gaddis switches the action to the outside and lands a jab, overhand left and a jab to his opponents head.

Jones steps inside and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Jones sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Gaddis is on target with a right uppercut.

Jones steps inside and hits home with a left hook.

Jones pivots to the right of his opponent.  Jones throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Gaddis ties up his opponent.  Gaddis is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Gaddis to stop fouling.
