John Taylor vs Ian Donkin

Boxing Daily Report from the Baddog promoted show at Royal York Hotel, Toronto,  taking place on 28/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Taylor (7 - 0) who hails from Toronto, Canada and Ian Donkin(8 - 6 - 3) from Toronto, Canada.  Taylor weighed in at 140 pounds, while Donkin weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Josh Watson, and the three ringside judges are Jean-Baptiste Villon, Mark Mowat and Euan Mair.  

Round 1: 

Taylor pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a firm left hook.
