Tefu Selebi vs Rich Van der Byl

Boxing Daily Report from the Quick Tan Promotions promoted show at Standard Bank Arena, Johannesburg,  taking place on 06/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SABC1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Tefu Selebi (14 - 0) who hails from Khayelitsha, South Africa and Rich Van der Byl(8 - 5 - 3) from Soweto, South Africa.  Both Selebi and Van der Byl weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Here Van Heerden, and the three ringside judges are Colin Ntambwe, Isaac Chohan and Phumelele Mkhize.
