Adam Ewin vs Elliot Shankland

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Rattlesnake Gym, Arlington,  taking place on 26/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Adam Ewin (2 - 0) who hails from Sacremento, USA and Elliot Shankland(2 - 5) from Indianapolis, USA.  Ewin weighed in at 111 pounds and 15 ounces, while Shankland weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ian Hesson, and the three ringside judges are Ian Hesson, James Crum and Mark Evans.

Shankland gets on the inside.  Ewin sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Shankland throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot.  Ewin ties up his opponent.  Shankland pushes his forearm into Ewin's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Shankland.

Shankland is on target with a right uppercut.  
Ewin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.

Shankland steps inside.  Ewin throws a left hook, but the shot is blocked.  Ewin holds on to his opponent.  Ewin leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Ewin is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a ramrod jab.  
Ewin lands a stiff jab.  
Ewin is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Shankland walks his opponent down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Shankland drives a right uppercut into Ewin's body.
