Dave Atilano vs Gareth Skillen

Boxing Daily Report from the Smoking Joe promoted show at Belasco Theatre, Los Angeles,  taking place on 22/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Atilano (7 - 0) who hails from Fremont, USA and Gareth Skillen(6 - 7 - 1) from Phoenix, USA.  Atilano weighed in at 235 pounds and 5 ounces, while Skillen weighed in at 245 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Owen, and the three ringside judges are Rob Prichard, Dan Beatty and Dylan Nield.  

Round 1: 

Atilano lands a straight 1 - 2.

That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
