Alejandro Almas vs Joaquin Valverde

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Guerrero promoted show at Acapulco Granada, Acapulco,  taking place on 21/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Mexico-Mexico State Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alejandro Almas (8 - 12 - 2) who hails from Ecatepec, Mexico and Joaquin Valverde(5 - 9(1) - 1) from Ecatepec, Mexico.  Both Almas and Valverde weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Desiderio Barquero, and the three ringside judges are Diego Delaguila, Miguel Nazario and Jaguar Rubi.
