Clint Melrose vs James Caven

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Australia-New South Wales promoted show at University of Newcastle Sports Hall, Newcastle,  taking place on 13/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Oceania Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on WIN, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Clint Melrose (14 - 2(1) - 1(NC)) who hails from Sydney, Australia and James Caven(12 - 2) from Sydney, Australia.  Both Melrose and Caven weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isaac Ewart, and the three ringside judges are James Finocchiaro, Ethan Capelli and Lewis Mescall.
