Bashir Aghababayev vs Elariz Aslanov

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Azerbaijan-Absheron promoted show at Butu Palace, Baku,  taking place on 16/10/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Azerbaijan-Absheron Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on IQTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Bashir Aghababayev (13 - 1) who hails from Baku, Azerbaijan and Elariz Aslanov(6 - 9 - 2) from Sumqayit, Azerbaijan.  Aghababayev weighed in at 125 pounds and 6 ounces, while Aslanov weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Waleed Khokhar, and the three ringside judges are Nariman Jafri, Fazail Babayev and Shamil Abdurrahmirov.
