Francisco Granada vs Xeres Ramundo

Boxing Daily Report from the Atsu Promotions promoted show at Santo Domingo Este Galban, Santo Domingo Este,  taking place on 17/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Dominican Republic-Santo Domingo Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on CERTV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Francisco Granada (10 - 0 - 1) who hails from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic and Xeres Ramundo(6 - 6 - 2) from Santo Domingo Este, Dominican Republic.  Granada weighed in at 246 pounds and 7 ounces, while Ramundo weighed in at 242 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Onate, and the three ringside judges are Diego Rodrigo, Esteban Favela and Selestino Tijerina.
