Chris Nivens vs Pyotr Kolobnev

Boxing Daily Report from the Rattlesnake Promotions promoted show at Palladium Ballroom, Dallas,  taking place on 19/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Chris Nivens (8 - 0) who hails from Cleveland, USA and Pyotr Kolobnev(2 - 3 - 3) from Ufa, Russia.  Both Nivens and Kolobnev weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Corey Barnes, and the three ringside judges are Sid Hackney, Owen Bryde and Harry Burwick.  

Round 1: 

Kolobnev pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nivens lands a jab.  
Nivens closes the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.

Kolobnev is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Nivens lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Nivens advances into close range and cuts off the ring, trapping Kolobnev on the ropes.  Nivens lands three consecutive left uppercuts to his opponents body.
