Irfan Abbas vs Amer Elasabgi

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Egypt-Alexandria promoted show at Golds Gym, Alexandria,  taking place on 18/10/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Egypt-Alexandria Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Modern Sport, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Irfan Abbas (7 - 1) who hails from Alexandria, Egypt and Amer Elasabgi(12 - 6 - 1) from Alexandria, Egypt.  Both Abbas and Elasabgi weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasin Abdel-Shafy, and the three ringside judges are Amer Qazi, Asif Meshaal and Ibrahim Kahraba.
