Canaan Giroud vs Neville de La Fontaine

Boxing Daily Report from the Quaye Promotions promoted show at Marseille Pagnol, Marseille,  taking place on 19/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Provence-Alpes-Cote dAzur Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Canaan Giroud (7 - 8 - 2) who hails from Toulon, France and Neville de La Fontaine(10 - 6) from Nice, France.  Both Giroud and de La Fontaine weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bayard Carlin, and the three ringside judges are Launcelot Tellier, Glanville Berland and Cable Hallier.  

Round 1: 

Giroud steps away from his opponent.  Giroud feints a right hook, and then hits home with an overhand right.
