Govind Prasad vs Syed Salameh

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Indoor Stadium, Surat,  taking place on 19/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the India Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Star Sports, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Govind Prasad (5 - 4 - 3) who hails from New Delhi, India and Syed Salameh(11 - 3) from Pune, India.  Prasad weighed in at 248 pounds and 11 ounces, while Salameh weighed in at 244 pounds and 3 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Waqar Shakoor, and the three ringside judges are Rehman Samaan, Rehman Samaan and Anupam Rana.
