Kenji Shiro vs Yutaka Shima

Boxing Daily Report from the Glove Shack promoted show at Kurume City Plaza Grand Hall, Kurume,  taking place on 19/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Japan-Fukuoka Super Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kenji Shiro (10 - 4) who hails from Kurume, Japan and Yutaka Shima(7 - 0) from Kitakyushu, Japan.  Shiro weighed in at 115 pounds, while Shima weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Ryuu Komatsu, and the three ringside judges are Akira Nishimura, Yasushi Baba and Kazuki Shimoda.
