Mikio Kojima vs Yasushi Fukuda

Boxing Daily Report from the Ayim Promotions promoted show at Kyo Hashimoto Gym, Koshigaya,  taking place on 23/10/2024:

Clearly Ayim Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Saitama Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Kojima (7 - 2) who hails from Soka, Japan and Yasushi Fukuda(10 - 0) from Kawaguchi, Japan.  Both Kojima and Fukuda weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Takeshi Fuse, and the three ringside judges are Kaede Iwasaki, Kenji Nishi and Hajime Nakajima.  

Round 1: 

Fukuda hits home with a solid jab.  Fukuda throws a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Fukuda is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent into the corner.  Fukuda pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into his opponents liver.
