Quaddus Kaunda vs Colin Bergdahl

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Peaks Ice Arena, Provo,  taking place on 31/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Quaddus Kaunda (9 - 0) who hails from Lusaka, Zambia and Colin Bergdahl(5 - 9 - 2) from Malmo, Sweden.  Both Kaunda and Bergdahl weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Edward Cary, and the three ringside judges are Lucas Magorian, Edward Cary and Charlie McNeely.  

Round 1: 

Bergdahl throws a left hook, but Kaunda ties up his opponent.  Kaunda pushes his forearm into Bergdahl's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.

Kaunda hits home with a right hook.  Kaunda clinches his opponent.  Kaunda is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Kaunda about fouling.  
Bergdahl pivots from in front of his opponent.  Kaunda lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Kaunda connects with a sharp right uppercut.  Kaunda ties up his opponent.  Kaunda tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bergdahl behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.
