Gregor Mumo vs Laken Apaloo

Boxing Daily Report from the Konga Promotions promoted show at Nairobi Kibet, Nairobi,  taking place on 24/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nairobi Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Gregor Mumo (11 - 5 - 3) who hails from Nairobi, Kenya and Laken Apaloo(9 - 3) from Nairobi, Kenya.  Mumo weighed in at 118 pounds, while Apaloo weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kashif Haque, and the three ringside judges are Rob Birdi, Elliot Lumumba and Armani Kipchoim.
