Georgiy Lopatin vs Malte Sund

Boxing Daily Report from the Big Bang Promotions promoted show at Grand Central, Stockholm,  taking place on 27/09/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Georgiy Lopatin (6 - 0) who hails from Sochi, Russia and Malte Sund(5 - 5 - 6) from Stockholm, Sweden.  Both Lopatin and Sund weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Gustav Selin, and the three ringside judges are Wilmer Grinberg, Benjamin Over and Harry Stahle.  

Round 1: 

Lopatin tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.

Lopatin feints a jab and triggers a left uppercut counter from Sund.  Lopatin springs the trap and counters with  a left uppercut.  
Lopatin pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Lopatin is on target with a jab to his opponents body.  
Lopatin drives a cross into his opponents body.  
Lopatin feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross.  
Lopatin steps away from his opponent and lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Sund tries to land a right hook, but Lopatin parries the shot and counters with a cross.  
Lopatin lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Sund advances into close range.  Lopatin sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Sund closes the distance.  Lopatin lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Lopatin drives a right uppercut into Sund's ribcage.  
Lopatin feints a left, and then lands a double jab to his opponents body.  
Lopatin is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Lopatin switches the action to the outside and connects with a cross.  Lopatin attempts to land a cross, but Sund slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Lopatin backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Sund steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Lopatin's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid. Sund's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Sund's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.
