Larrimore Nolton vs Vivien Baston

Boxing Daily Report from the AI France-Rhone-Alpes promoted show at Lyon Belcourt, Lyon,  taking place on 25/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the France-Rhone-Alpes Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Larrimore Nolton (9 - 9 - 1) who hails from Lyon, France and Vivien Baston(12(3) - 0) from Grenoble, France.  Both Nolton and Baston weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Boyce de Beauvoir, and the three ringside judges are Reinald Roussel, Raul de Marivaux and Boyce de Beauvoir.  

Round 1: 

Baston is on target with a stiff jab.  
Nolton steps to the outside.  Baston hits the target with a hard jab.  
Baston steps inside and manouvers Nolton onto the ropes.  Nolton throws a left uppercut, but Baston holds on to his opponent.  Nolton leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Baston's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Baston lands an overhand left, overhand right and a cross to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Nolton almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Baston feints a jab, fooling Nolton into launching a right uppercut counter.  Baston avoids the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Baston tries to keep the action at long range and lands an overhand left followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Baston is looking to close the distance and hits home with a right hook.  
Nolton is looking to close the distance.  Baston lands a right uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Nolton sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Baston lands a left uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  Baston holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Baston pushes his forearm into Nolton's face.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Nolton pivots to the side of his opponent.  Nolton tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a solid cross.  
Baston walks his opponent down, trapping him in a corner.  Baston hits home with a sharp left hook.  Baston clinches his opponent.  Baston pushes his forearm into Nolton's face.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Baston is looking to keep his distance and is on target with an overhand right.  
Baston gets on the inside and drives a right uppercut into Nolton's body.  
Baston lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  Baston ties up his opponent.  Nolton uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Baston's kidney.
