Hassan Bacchus vs Aseem Maurya

Boxing Daily Report from the Archer Promotions promoted show at Ahmed Wassan Gym, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 26/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Hassan Bacchus (13 - 6 - 2) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Aseem Maurya(14 - 3) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Bacchus weighed in at 111 pounds and 9 ounces, while Maurya weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehan Azam, and the three ringside judges are Tariq Ahmed, Azam Asmar and Rehman Saadeh.  

Round 1: 

Maurya pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Bacchus is on target with a cross.  Bacchus attempts to land a jab, but Maurya sidesteps and counters with a right hook.
