Diego Barriga vs Antonio Almodovar

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Mexico-Tamaulipas promoted show at Vicente Delgadillo Gym, Ciudad Victoria,  taking place on 26/10/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Mexico-Tamaulipas Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Barriga (6 - 9) who hails from Reynosa, Mexico and Antonio Almodovar(2 - 5 - 1) from Matamoros, Mexico.  Both Barriga and Almodovar weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Senor, and the three ringside judges are Alejandro Rebolledo, Rodrigo Franco and Agapetus Llorente.
