Xavion Cal vs Inigo Llewellyn

Boxing Daily Report from the Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions promoted show at Portsmouth Guildhall, Portsmouth,  taking place on 20/10/2024:

Clearly Frank Smith’s Tea Boy Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Xavion Cal (3 - 0) who hails from Bahía Blanca, Argentina and Inigo Llewellyn(7 - 9 - 1) from Milton Keynes, UK.  Both Cal and Llewellyn weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Brendan Beddoe, and the three ringside judges are Joe Blevins, Steve Parry and Daniel Ivers.  

Round 1: 

Cal closes the distance.  Llewellyn pivots to the right of his opponent.  Llewellyn throws a left hook, but Cal clinches his opponent.  Cal pushes his forearm into Llewellyn's face.  The ref breaks Cal's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Llewellyn gets on the inside.  Cal lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cal digs in a stinging right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Cal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and drives a sharp left hook into his opponents body.  As Cal tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Llewellyn dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Cal connects with a left hook.  
Cal lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cal sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cal is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left hook into Llewellyn's body.  
Cal closes the distance and is on target with a left hook to his opponents liver.  
Cal is on target with a firm right hook to Llewellyn's ribcage.  
Llewellyn throws a right hook, but Cal clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Cal pushes his forearm into Llewellyn's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Cal about fouling.  
Cal manouvers Llewellyn onto the ropes.  Cal lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cal quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a right uppercut.  
Cal lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Llewellyn's trainer is advising how he could improve the accuracy of his work.  Llewellyn's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Llewellyn's trainer is advising how he could improve his defence.

Llewellyn throws a right hook, but Cal ties up his opponent.  Cal tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Llewellyn's kidney. 
Cal drives a left hook into his opponents liver.  
Cal lands a left uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Cal advances into close range and lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Cal is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  
Cal gets on the inside and walks Llewellyn down, trapping him on the ropes.  Cal lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Cal lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Llewellyn has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.

Cal drives a left hook into his opponents body.  Cal holds on to his opponent.  Cal leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Cal throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Cal to stop fouling.  
Cal lands a left hook to the head followed by a left uppercut to the body.
