Mason Sneden vs Fritzi Saur

Boxing Daily Report from the Ten Count Promotions promoted show at Hull City Hall, Hull,  taking place on 16/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Mason Sneden (10(2) - 0) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Fritzi Saur(4 - 5) from Bremen, Germany.  Both Sneden and Saur weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Anton Kirk, and the three ringside judges are Robert McQueen, Jonathan Duane and Gyn Gwenn.  

Round 1: 

Sneden lands a right hook.  Sneden holds on to his opponent.  Saur uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Sneden's kidney. Sneden uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Saur behind the head. Sneden pushes his forearm into Saur's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Sneden about fouling.

Sneden manages to force Saur into the corner.  Sneden pivots to the right of his opponent.  Sneden lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  Sneden ties up his opponent.  Sneden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Saur behind the head. Sneden is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
