Alejandro Salaz vs Fraco Dorado

Boxing Daily Report from the Rourke & Salvador promoted show at Auditorio Angel Bustelo, Mendoza,  taking place on 21/10/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Alejandro Salaz (1 - 0) who hails from Córdoba, Argentina and Fraco Dorado(0 - 0 - 2) from Rosario, Argentina.  Salaz weighed in at 111 pounds and 14 ounces, while Dorado weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraco Bernardo, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Lacerda, Carlos Cala and Santiago Cardoso.

Salaz feints a cross, tricking Dorado into launching a cross counter.  Salaz springs the trap and counters with  a right uppercut to Dorado's ribcage.  
Salaz is looking to close the distance.  Salaz lands a right hook.  Salaz wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Dorado has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Dorado throws a right hook, but Salaz ties up his opponent.  Salaz is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Salaz to stop fouling.  
Dorado tries to keep the action at long range.  Dorado sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Dorado attempts to land a cross, but Salaz sidesteps and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Dorado's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Dorado's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Dorado's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.
