Robert Risk vs Harta Himantono

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at University at Buffalo Alumni Arena, Buffalo,  taking place on 07/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Risk (16(8) - 1) who hails from Eugene, USA and Harta Himantono(7 - 11(1) - 3) from Jakarta, Indonesia.  Risk weighed in at 140 pounds, while Himantono weighed in at 139 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Cole Milroy, and the three ringside judges are Gareth Frost, Daniel Leask and Nico Rossettini.  

Round 1: 

Risk gets on the inside.  Himantono throws a right hook, but Risk clinches his opponent.  Risk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Risk is on target with a solid left uppercut to Himantono's body.  Risk holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Risk pushes his forearm into Himantono's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Risk.  Risk attempts to land a right hook, but Himantono parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Risk gets on the inside and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Risk sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Risk digs in a right hook to Himantono's ribcage.  Risk ties up his opponent.  Risk uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Himantono behind the head. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Risk to stop fouling.  
Himantono steps inside.  Himantono sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Risk digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Risk is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Risk is on target with a left hook.  
Himantono throws a right uppercut, but Risk ties up his opponent.  Himantono is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Himantono.  
Risk forces Himantono to retreat onto the ropes.  Risk lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Risk lands a solid left uppercut.  Risk ties up his opponent.  Risk is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Risk walks Himantono onto the ropes.  Risk lands a double right hook to his opponents head.  
Risk lands a cross followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Risk attempts to land a left hook, but Himantono slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Risk gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Risk is on target with a sharp left hook.  
Risk lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Risk advances into close range and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the punch.  Risk clinches his opponent.  Himantono hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Risk sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left hook to his opponents body.  
Risk drives a solid left hook into Himantono's body.  
Himantono closes the distance.  Risk lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Risk lands a cross.  
Risk gets on the inside.  Risk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  The two boxers are fighting in-close, but their heads clash!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Risk dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Risk gets on the inside and hits home with a left hook.  
Risk advances into close range and connects with a stinging left hook.

Risk attempts to land a cross, but Himantono sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Risk is looking to close the distance.  Risk sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two right hook's to the body.  
Himantono connects with a right hook.  
Risk steps inside and lands a right hook, right uppercut and a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Risk lands a left hook to the head, a left uppercut to the body and a left uppercut to the head.  
Risk digs in a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Risk forces Himantono to retreat into a corner.  Risk pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.

Himantono throws a right hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Risk ties up his opponent.  Risk hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Risk to stop fouling.

Himantono closes the distance.  Himantono sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Risk connects with a right hook.  Risk tries to land a left hook, but Himantono slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Risk senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Himantono and just needs the right shot.  Risk lands a left hook, right uppercut and a cross to his opponents head, KNOCKING HIMANTONO DOWN!  He is back up on his feet at 4.  Himantono now seems to have got his legs back.  
Himantono pivots to the left of his opponent.  Himantono throws a right uppercut, but Risk holds on to his opponent.  Risk throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The referee breaks up the clinch and lectures Risk to stop holding.
