Kian Bapela vs Kasi Frimpong

Boxing Daily Report from the AI South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal promoted show at Umlazi Adumensa, Umlazi,  taking place on 31/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the South Africa-KwaZulu-Natal Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on AIT Sports, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kian Bapela (9 - 4) who hails from Durban, South Africa and Kasi Frimpong(12 - 2) from Durban, South Africa.  Both Bapela and Frimpong weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Thuso Ledwaba, and the three ringside judges are Louis Muamba, Ollie Rensburg and Kasi Mogoeng.
