Carlos Vegas vs Yago Alcantara

Boxing Daily Report from the Asiedu Promotions promoted show at Centre Civic Cotxeres de Sants, Barcelona,  taking place on 31/10/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Spain-Catalonia Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Marca TV, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Carlos Vegas (11 - 3 - 1) who hails from Badalona, Spain and Yago Alcantara(11 - 4) from L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, Spain.  Both Vegas and Alcantara weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Seferino Grajales, and the three ringside judges are Vicente Ras, Carlos Oseguera and Santiago Cardinal.  

Round 1: 

Alcantara steps inside.  Vegas lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents head.
