Connor Tear vs Inigo Boyce

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Crowne Plaza Hotel, San Diego,  taking place on 25/11/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Connor Terror Tear (8(5) - 0) who hails from Fremont, USA and Inigo Boyce(8 - 3 - 2) from Los Angeles, USA.  Tear weighed in at 112 pounds, while Boyce weighed in at 111 pounds And 8 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Quijas, and the three ringside judges are Ben Banos, Will Ducat and John Stein.  

Round 1: 

Tear lands a sharp overhand right.  
Boyce drops his hands, and waves his opponent in.  Tear connects with a sharp cross.  
Tear steps to the outside.  Tear sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a cross.  
Boyce feints a jab, and then connects with a cross.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Boyce now.   He swings an uppercut into his opponents groin! The ref halts the action and sends Tear to the neutral corner.    He warns Boyce that he is heading for a point deduction.

Boyce lands a right hook.  
Tear feints a cross, and then lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Boyce steps inside.  Tear lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.

Tear senses a stoppage victory - he just needs the right shot.  Tear lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He then lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND BOYCE IS KNOCKED DOWN!  He is unable to get up before the count reaches 10!  The winner by KO is Tear!
