Xing-fu Mah vs Fo-hsing Pui

Boxing Daily Report from the AI China-Shanxi promoted show at Taiyuan Kee, Taiyuan,  taking place on 01/11/2024:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the China-Shanxi Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Xing-fu Mah (15 - 1) who hails from Datong, China and Fo-hsing Pui(13 - 2 - 1) from Taiyuan, China.  Both Mah and Pui weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Niao-ka Way, and the three ringside judges are Yo Tom, Deshi Cai and Chung Au.  

Round 1: 

Mah closes the distance.  Mah pivots to the side of his opponent and hits home with a sharp left hook.  Mah wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Pui has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused minor damage to the nose.  
Pui pivots from in front of his opponent.  Mah connects with a firm cross.
