Daiki Hirayama vs Kei Kubota

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Japan-Kyoto promoted show at Ichiro Tao Gym, Kyoto,  taking place on 01/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Japan-Kyoto Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Daiki Hirayama (9 - 1 - 1) who hails from Kyoto, Japan and Kei Kubota(5 - 3 - 2) from Kyoto, Japan.  Both Hirayama and Kubota weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Nao Mori, and the three ringside judges are Naoki Kawasaki, Kazuhiko Ozawa and Kazuhiko Ozawa.  

Round 1: 

Hirayama switches the action to the outside.  Hirayama sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.
