Manny Cuenca vs Carlos Sahagun

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Peru-Lambayeque promoted show at Chiclayo Lopez, Chiclayo,  taking place on 14/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Peru Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Manny Cuenca (9(2) - 1) who hails from Chiclayo, Peru and Carlos Sahagun(6 - 7) from Lima, Peru.  Both Cuenca and Sahagun weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Jerrold Lucido, and the three ringside judges are Guillermo Rodriguez, Xalvador Valladolid and Xaverius Apostol.  

Round 1: 

Cuenca is looking to close the distance and digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.
