Kazuhiko Wakabayashi vs Malik Anwar

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, New Delhi,  taking place on 29/11/2024:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Kazuhiko Wakabayashi (5 - 4) who hails from Chofu, Japan and Malik Anwar(4 - 5 - 4) from Cairo, Egypt.  Wakabayashi weighed in at 154 pounds, while Anwar weighed in at 153 pounds and 14 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasvinder Ramesh, and the three ringside judges are Syed Ghazal, Malik Baten and Gautam Trivedi.  

Round 1:

The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Anwar has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused bad swelling  around the left eye.  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  We are going to the scorecards.
