Dave Shen vs Amer Burki

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Johor promoted show at Amjad Haider Gym, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 05/11/2024:

Clearly AI Malaysia-Johor have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Malaysia-Johor Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Shen (12 - 5 - 1) who hails from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and Amer Burki(10 - 5 - 2) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Shen weighed in at 146 pounds and 10 ounces, while Burki weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Hammad, and the three ringside judges are Gazi Shariff, Shayan Hossain and Shayan Hossain.  

Round 1: 

Shen drives a left hook into Burki's liver.  
Burki lands a left hook.  As Burki tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Shen has come off worse after that clash of heads.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
