Arnie Whitehorn vs Bruce Rodger

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Centre Étienne Desmarteau - Ice Rink Jean Trottier, Montreal,  taking place on 23/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Arnie Whitehorn (4 - 0) who hails from Surrey, Canada and Bruce Rodger(4 - 3 - 1) from Calgary, Canada.  Whitehorn weighed in at 154 pounds, while Rodger weighed in at 153 pounds and 2 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Sinjon Bellanger, and the three ringside judges are Laurent Marceau, Erec Adore and Carvell Brame.  

Round 1: 

Rodger closes the distance.  Whitehorn connects with a left uppercut.  Whitehorn clinches his opponent.  Whitehorn leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.
