George Patera vs Marlen Zhacksybec

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at Veterans Memorial Coliseum, Portland,  taking place on 09/11/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on ESPN, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are George Patera (11 - 0) who hails from Piraeus, Greece and Marlen Zhacksybec(5 - 8(1) - 3) from Shymkent, Kazakhstan.  Both Patera and Zhacksybec weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Mardock, and the three ringside judges are Brett Edmison, James Mardock and Peter Roger.  

Round 1: 

Patera steps inside and is on target with a left uppercut.  
Patera sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Patera closes the distance and connects with a stinging right hook.  
Zhacksybec sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Patera connects with a left hook.  
Patera steps inside and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Patera lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Patera lands a right hook followed by  two left hooks to his opponents head.  
Patera is looking to keep his distance and lands a cross.  
Patera advances into close range.  Zhacksybec throws a right hook, but Patera holds on to his opponent.  Patera pushes his forearm into Zhacksybec's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Patera to stop fouling.  
Patera hits home with a sharp right hook.  Patera clinches his opponent.  Patera leans on his opponent using all his weight. Patera uses his free hand to throw a body hook, but it lands on Zhacksybec's kidney. 
Patera pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right hook to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  
Patera gets on the inside.  Patera pivots from in front of his opponent and lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Patera lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Patera is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  Patera attempts to land an overhand right, but Zhacksybec blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Patera gets on the inside.  Patera pivots from in front of his opponent.  Patera throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot.  Patera clinches his opponent.  Zhacksybec leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Patera pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Patera leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Zhacksybec accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Patera.  
Zhacksybec steps inside.  Patera connects with a sharp left hook.  
Patera is on target with a left hook to Zhacksybec's body.  
Patera lands a right uppercut to the body, and then to the head.  
Patera steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Zhacksybec closes the distance.  Patera lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.
