Robert Roose vs Michael Kells

Boxing Daily Report from the Showtime Promotions promoted show at Albany Capital Centre, Albany,  taking place on 09/12/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on MSG Network, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Robert Roose (9 - 0) who hails from Phoenix, USA and Michael Kells(0 - 5 - 3) from Mississauga, Canada.  Roose weighed in at 104 pounds And 5 ounces, while Kells weighed in at 105 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mel Giorgetti, and the three ringside judges are James Milner, Chris Chisolm and David Fidler.  

Round 1: 

Roose is looking to close the distance.  Roose quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook.
