Eduart Tumer vs Ilija Bocina

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Albania-Central promoted show at Tirana Sonku, Tirana,  taking place on 18/10/2024:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Eduart Tumer (1 - 0) who hails from Tirana, Albania and Ilija Bocina(1 - 4 - 1) from Zagreb, Croatia.  Tumer weighed in at 140 pounds, while Bocina weighed in at 139 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Besin Chetin, and the three ringside judges are Ermir Akdag, Besim Kupi and Besmir Tanyu.  

Round 1:

Tumer tries to land a right hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Bocina steps inside.  Tumer pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.

Bocina closes the distance.  Bocina sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Tumer lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  Tumer holds on to his opponent.  Tumer leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Bocina gets on the inside.  Tumer voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Bocina steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
