Mandeep Sheri vs Chris Jiu

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Johor Bahru Mustafa, Johor Bahru,  taking place on 18/11/2024:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mandeep Sheri (9 - 0) who hails from Petaling Jaya, Malaysia and Chris Jiu(11 - 3 - 4) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Both Sheri and Jiu weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Hammad, and the three ringside judges are Azam Hamdan, Gazi Shariff and Saad Hassan.  

Round 1: 

Jiu gets on the inside.  Sheri sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
